Samuel’s Hope

Samuel looked forward to a new heaven and a new earth.
We want to share his hope.

About Us

Our Story

In 2020 our middle son Samuel sadly died, aged 7. We wanted to support his school friends with their grief, so we raised money to buy a Christian devotional book to give to each of his classmates (in Year 3) near the time of his birthday. The books were so popular and well-received we ended up providing them for 10 primary schools in and around Monmouth.

We want to continue sharing Samuel’s Hope in Jesus with children in our local area for years to come. In Autumn 2021 we are raising funds for 1,000 books to be given to Y3 students in 30 schools across Monmouthshire.

Samuel
Samuel was friendly, full of energy, loved nature and thinking about the God who made it. He wanted his friends to know about Jesus – sharing the book is a way of carrying on his ‘work’ in this area.

The book
‘Indescribable,’ by L. Giglio is a quality hardback book, combining all those things that Samuel loved – it’s fun, colourful, full of fascinating facts about the natural world, and helps us think about the spiritual side of life.

Hope
Samuel was excited to go to heaven one day and looked forward to meeting Jesus. It is our prayer that through giving out these books we could share Samuel’s Hope with other children.

Help
If you would like to support us in reaching out to the children of Monmouthshire, and sharing Samuel’s Hope in Jesus with them, please donate and help us reach our fundraising target. We would also be very grateful if you could pray God would use the books to help children and their families.
